In addition to being a dermatologist, I am the president of the The C. V. Roman Medical Society, which is the DFW branch of the National Medical Association. One of the major aims of our organization is scholarship, which includes supporting the needs of medical students who look like us–they will be the ones who take care of our health in the future. On that note, I would like to invite you to our inaugural scholarship gala, scheduled Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the African American Museum of Dallas at Fair Park. We are raising monies for students at UT Southwestern and Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine to support them in their studies. We promise a fantastic evening, honoring Dallas "legends in medicine," but also providing a delicious meal, live entertainment, a silent auction, a professional photographer, and just one great night out on the town for a good cause.
