Partners & Sponsors

Our work is made possible not only by the dedication of our members, but also by the generous support of our partners and sponsors. These organizations stand with us in our commitment to promoting health and wellness, eliminating health disparities, and maximizing long-term, positive health outcomes here in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and beyond.

Memberships & Affiliations

The C.V. Roman Medical Society is proud to belong to a larger network of professionals dedicated to improving healthcare access and outcomes for the Black community.

We are part of the National Medical Association (NMA), the largest and oldest organization representing more than 60,000 African American physicians and their patients in the United States.

As the Dallas-Fort Worth society of the NMA, we join forces with our fellow chapters in advancing the art and science of medicine for people of African descent.

We are proud to be represented in NMA Region V, which includes the states of Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. This regional affiliation allows us to collaborate with a wider network of physicians and healthcare professionals, enhancing our ability to make a meaningful impact.

Partnerships

Our partnerships allow us to nurture the next generation of physicians and engage directly with our local community here in Dallas-Fort Worth.

We collaborate with DFW medical schools, including UT Southwestern Medical Center, Burnett School of Medicine at Texas Christian University, and Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, and we partner with the Texas Medical Association on our monthly “Walk With a Doc” event series.

Gala Sponsors

The C.V. Roman Medical Society is also grateful for the generous support of our gala sponsors. Our annual gala is the premier fundraiser for our scholarship program.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the top sponsors of our latest gala, including NeuLine Health, the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Equitable, Medical City Dallas, UT Southwestern, and Parkland Health Foundation.
