The C.V. Roman Medical Society is a collection of dynamic, award-winning physicians working together to impact the health, wellness and vitality of the Dallas-Fort Worth community.
We are a nonprofit professional organization and the DFW chapter of the National Medical Association (NMA) — the largest and oldest organization representing Black and African American physicians and their patients in the United States.

Before joining, please review the following details about our monthly meetings, membership timelines, dues, and eligibility requirements.
Meetings are scheduled on the fourth Thursday of each month, with exceptions made for winter holiday conflicts and a short summer hiatus.
Membership in our Society is on a calendar year basis, from January 1 through December 31.
Membership renewal begins on October 1 through December 31, but new members are encouraged to join us at any time during the year by completing the form below.
Annual member dues are $200. Eligible medical students may join at a discounted rate. You may complete the form below to submit your payment online.

Members should be doctors of medicine (MDs) or doctors of osteopathic medicine (DOs) in practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Medical students currently enrolled at any DFW medical schools or residents in the DFW area are also welcome to join at a discounted rate.
